We are looking for an engaged member of our Benefits team and if you answered YES to the questions above, we need to talk to you! 

Responsibilities:

Use company historical data to evaluate pricing, structure, and overall health of various benefits plans 

Partner with TPA (third party administrators) to evaluate plan trends and make recommendation to ensure plan success

Partner with TPA benefits actuary team to evaluate steps to resolve imminent risk 

Serve as point of contact for vendor partners / PBM / TPA’s for pricing and review of ongoing claim exposure 

Provide detailed reports for all parties necessary regarding any plan the company administers 

Use business intelligence tools and AI to present complex data in a clear and engaging way for all shareholders 

Ensure compliance with all federal and state benefits regulations, including ACA, ERISA and HIPPA and help maintain accurate records for regulatory requirements 

Generate and maintain reports on benefits data, including enrollment status, coverage changes and vendor performance.  

Perform regular audits to ensure integrity and identify issues or discrepancies 

Knowledge, Skill and Experience 

Bachelor’s and / or master's degree ideally in a technical or quantitative field 

Experience working with benefit plans 

Proficiency using computer software such as Excel, Word, SQL, and emerging AI tools 

Proven track record of success in multiple roles 

Advanced understanding of statistics/predictive analytics 

Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively across businesses and with TPA’s and vendors 

Demonstrated problem solving skills 

Data sources / modeling / forecasting 

Pricing and cost allocation methods 

This position can be remote, but an emphasis will be placed on finding local talent.
